Niagara-on-the-Lake is unlike any other community in Canada. Our heritage, agricultural lands, natural environment, and vibrant villages define who we are. I am running for Lord Mayor because I care deeply about the past, present and future of our community and I wish to protect what makes our town so special. I also believe, at this time, we need experienced leadership. It is a critical as only mayors will now sit on Regional Council,. We need to have someone in this role who already understands how to navigate that responsibility. My experience at the Region has prepared me to advocate effectively for Niagara-on-the-Lake.

I also think we need change in leadership and a Lord Mayor who will bring our community together and ensure we move forward with a shared sense of purpose. By bringing people together and drawing on our collective strengths, we can build a future that respects and protects our heritage and agricultural lands, while embracing new services and opportunities for residents and businesses alike.

I will be ready on day one to leverage my knowledge and established relationships for the benefit of our entire community. Niagara-on-the-Lake is a place defined by its history, its people, and its potential, and I will respect our past, lead today, and help shape tomorrow. I have a proven track record and throughout my public service, I have been a leader in building trust and transparency with residents, protecting our unique heritage, preserving agricultural lands, and advocating for responsible decision-making that respects the character of our community.
